Your information and your work.
If you ask us to look at a document, idea, workflow or business problem, you should understand how we intend to treat the information you share.
1. Information we collect
We expect to collect only the information needed to understand an enquiry, contact you, assess whether we can help, carry out an agreed job and maintain records required for accounting or tax purposes. We will not sell your contact details.
We may ask whether you'd like to receive occasional information about service changes or new services. Any such updates should be optional, with a clear way to opt out. This is separate from information we need to keep for an agreed job or legal record-keeping.
2. Confidentiality
Our intended practice is to use material you provide only to assess your request and perform the work agreed. We will restrict access to people who need it for that purpose and will not knowingly disclose information you identify as confidential without your permission, except where disclosure is required by law or another applicable obligation.
If a request may require another person to help, we will discuss this with you first. We will not share your confidential material with that person without your agreement.
3. Your intellectual property
You retain ownership of material you provide to us. Sending us a manuscript, document, design, idea or other material for review does not, by itself, transfer ownership to UPosted.
Where we create something specifically for you — for example, a web page, spreadsheet, report, checklist or edited document — the agreed job terms will say what rights you receive. Our intention is that, once the agreed fee has been paid in full, you can own and use the bespoke deliverable as agreed. Any pre-existing tools, third-party material, software, fonts, images or licences may remain subject to their original ownership or licence terms. We will not publish your work as an example or use it for promotion without your permission.
4. Storage, retention and deletion
Before launch, we will document where enquiry and job information is stored, who can access it, how long it is retained and how it is deleted, including how routine backups are handled. Some records may need to be retained for applicable accounting or tax obligations. Until these arrangements are confirmed and tested, please do not send highly confidential, legally privileged, health-related or commercially critical material.
5. Service providers
The website host, email provider and other essential service providers may process information as part of operating the service. The final notice must identify the relevant providers and explain applicable processing or international-transfer arrangements. We will not claim that information never passes through a third-party service unless that is accurate.
6. Please do not send access secrets
- Passwords, payment-card details, login credentials or private access codes.
- For cryptocurrency or digital wallets: never send private keys, seed/recovery phrases, wallet passwords or other secrets that could give someone control of your funds. We do not need them to consider a general question.
- Personal information about other people unless it is necessary and you are authorised to share it.
- Material you do not have permission to provide.
- Highly sensitive documents before we have agreed how they can be handled appropriately.
You can describe a crypto-related question in general terms if you wish, but UPosted is not presenting itself as a cryptocurrency, investment or wallet-security specialist. We may decline questions that require specialist or regulated advice.
7. Legal basis and your privacy rights
The service is planned to be operated from Sweden. Before launch, the final notice will identify the responsible operator, privacy contact, applicable legal basis, retention periods and relevant rights under data-protection law, including GDPR where applicable. The governing-law and jurisdiction wording will be confirmed for the actual service rather than assumed here.
Before this page goes live
This draft must be completed using the real operator details, contact method, form fields, hosting and email providers, storage arrangements, retention schedule and applicable legal requirements. It is not yet a final legal notice.
