“B2B Grandma” is a light-hearted introduction to the idea: sometimes you need a fresh pair of eyes, a practical question or an independent reader — not a meeting, a long contract or a grand consulting process.
My background crosses research and medical technology, information and data organisation, practical systems, documentation, website work and publishing. That variety helps me approach a problem from more than one angle, while being clear about the limits of my experience.
Areas of experience
- Research and coordination: research project coordination, service development, planning documents, reports and information synthesis.
- Data and practical systems: Excel-based tracking and costing, data organisation, FileMaker databases and laboratory information-management systems (LIMS).
- Process and documentation: laboratory documentation, quality assurance, process mapping, workflow improvement and operational planning.
- Web and office tools: HTML, CSS, website development, content management systems, and everyday Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint work.
- Writing and publishing: published author, self-publishing in paperback and ebook formats, and experience with writing, formatting, proofreading, editing and manuscript review.

Some jobs may benefit from skills beyond my own. If I believe another person's expertise is needed, I'll explain that before proceeding. No additional person will be involved in your job or given access to your material without discussing it with you and obtaining your agreement first. Any agreed involvement and its effect on scope, confidentiality and cost will be made clear.
